About Shepard Humphries

Shepard Humphries is a former S.W.A.T. Sniper Team Leader and competitive shooter with over 32 years of experience. He is the author of the book "Extended ELR Shooting" and a former Tactical Entry Team Operator. In addition to his work as a security consultant, Humphries is also a secretary for two 501c3 charities: Voluntary Virtue and JH Shooting Sports Foundation.

Humphries is a skilled public speaker, performance coach and counselor, with experience in hostage and crisis negotiations. He is also a former Crimes-Against-Children Detective and School Resource Officer. As a competitive shooter, Humphries has experience in benchrest rimfire rifle, IDPA, and USPSA shooting. He is currently a competitive long range rifle shooter and one of fewer than 2,000 NRA Appointed Training Counselors worldwide.

In addition to his shooting and security expertise, Humphries is also a women's self-defense instructor and a prepper shooting instructor. He offers a podcast and audiobook on the subject of women's self-defense. Overall, Humphries is a well-rounded professional with a wealth of experience in shooting, security, and personal development.

Oh yeah, and he led the team that set the new world record in Extreme Long Range Shooting with an unbelievable 4.4 mile shot!
